Hole-in-the-Wall surf guide

Surf: Hole-in-the-Wall is a scenic sandstone arch that heavily filters big swell, allowing novelty lefts to reform down the boulders behind the island. Needs a big swell to power through and around the island, but it's a fun peeling left ideal for longboarding. If it’s too small at Hole-in-the-Wall, there's a junky beachbreak just to the north that faces NE. Environment: This should be a safe feeling spot, almost like being in a swimming pool, but it is in the rivermouth flow and depending on time of year and water levels, there are 3 different ways a Zambezi shark could access the river.
