Surf: 15 minutes past the town of Rio San Juan, long rights peel down a reef in front of the main entrance to the Playa Grande beach. Best on N swell, this wave speeds-up as it goes down the line. Rarely crowded due to the variety of peaks available, including the inside shorebreak left known as La Punta. Environment: Beautiful spot popular with tourists and locals alike.
