Surf: From the rocks at Olivença, a dozen kilometres of changeable peaks hit the sands up through fancy Milionarios Beach, then consistent Pedra da Cachorra where bigger swells can create lefts that break behind the rock and past the Jardim Atlantico hotel section into the rockier northern corner at Ilhéus proper. Environment: Attracts plenty of locals to the best peaks at the northern end but there are endless options for those bothered to walk from the access points.
