Tamri surf guide

Tamri is a surf spot located at the mouth of a river that helps irrigate local banana plantations. This beachbreak is known for its consistency, making it a good alternative when the nearby Tarhazout doesn't have much going on. However, a heads-up: it can get onshore when the north winds pick up, so timing is important if you want to score some decent waves.

This spot works best with swell coming from the SouthWest and North, handling sizes from 1ft (about 0.3m) and up. The waves break over sand, offering both left and right rides. It’s suited mainly for intermediate surfers, with preferable conditions being during low to mid tide. You’ll get the best experience when the wind is coming from the SouthEast, so check the forecast before heading out.

Be cautious of strong rip currents, especially when the swell exceeds 4ft (about 1.2m). Knowing your limits is key here, as the conditions can change and become challenging quickly. Overall, Tamri is worth a visit for those looking to mix things up on their surf trip.
