Surf: The most consistent and popular spot in Maryland. Visiting surfers usually end up here. There are three main breaks. Steep, bowly rights off the north inlet jetty are probably the best waves. Second peak is a left and right that’s not quite as steep. Peaks either side of the pier. Can be 1-2ft (0.3-0.6m) bigger on incoming tides. Somewhat sheltered from S winds, which means it’s often good in hurricane swells. Consistent. Often crowded. Rips and currents when big.
