Surf: San Augustin needs a big S swell to work since it faces SE and an offshore island bounces the swell round the rocky bay. Nothing special, but a beautiful spot. Favoured by local bodyboarders. Environment: Bahias de Huatulco are well-protected tourist bays and offer little in the way of good waves, unless there is a really huge S swell, when Tangolunda may have a rideable shorebreak on this tourist hotel strip.
