Suffolk Park surf guide

Surf: The sleepy streets of Suffolk Park often lead to a good bank at Suffolk Park, with lefts winding down towards Broken Head, where the pack admire the winking eyes, but rarely bother to venture up the beach. It doesn't quite match Tallows for quality, but with mid tide, any E swell and any W in the wind, there'll be tubes a plenty. Get in before the wind does. Environment: Tough paddle at overhead size, some rips and a feeling of loneliness when a dark shape glides by. There's a local bunch but it's a mellow vibe thanks to the wide choice of peaks all the way down to Taylors / Tea Tree Lake.
