Surf: General: None Tides: High for Patrick's Point, low for Agate Beach. Size: Head high-4X overhead Wind: SE Swell: Big long-period W for the Point, NW for Agate Bottom: Rock at the Point, sand and a few boulders at Agate. Paddling: Depends on size but generally a lot of paddling, especially when overhead. Spot Rating: Fun. Access: Easy. Exit 101 at Patrick's Point Drive and cruise to the park entrance. Crowds: Crowd Factor: Can be a problem at Agate, but not so much so at the Point. You'll generally always find people surfing here if it's big. Local Vibe: None, really, except on the way-outside peak/boil on big days. Environment: Clean. Hazards: None. Season: September-February
