Delray Beach surf guide
Surf: Delray Beach offers above average beachbreak that works best at the south end (Anchor Park). Will take both NE and SE swells from slop to sizeable, but tends to have better peaks on a NE'er at mid to high tides.
Environment: Delray is often crowded but a relaxed atmosphere is maintained. Suffers from the endemic ‘shark and man-o-war’ syndrome.
Surf: General: Located at the end of Atlantic Boulevard, Delray Public Beach's south end delivers some mighty fine surf at times. Delray works on every tide and swell combination, but on big swells and lower tides the outside sandbar really fires.
