Surf: Isla Santa Maria, a desert island 1.6km (1mi) offshore, hosts three distinct breaks. One is a giant, deep-water A-frame, while the other two reefbreaks are left points best surfed around 6ft (2m). Environment: Pristine environment and only boat access so crowds are never a problem.
