Isla Vista surf guide

Surf: Various mushy reef waves east of Devereux Point breaking a quarter-mile from shore, plus some beachbreak down towards Campus Point. Needs big W swell and low tides or big windswell. Pescaderos, at the end of Pescadero Street, is a fun, peaky beachbreak that blows offshore with NW wind. Needs a lower tide. Gets crowded when UCSB is in session. Depressions is an average beachbreak on the backside of Campus Point below the miniature valley in the bluff. Needs medium tide with smaller, peaky windswell. Environment: All spots are accessible by parking along Del Playa Drive in Isla Vista.
