The waves break over sand, and both lefts and rights are available, which is nice for different riding preferences. Access to The Pit is straightforward, with parking available off Cliff Drive. Just make sure to check the tide and wind direction — a North wind is preferable here. Plan your sessions around those conditions for the best experience.
