The Pit surf guide

Surf: Consistent beachbreak that responds well to windswell and works best on higher incoming tides. Closes out over head high. Fun peaks, plenty of room for everyone. Gets crowded with grommets after school and during the summer. Environment: The water here becomes very polluted after rainfall, and several surfers over the years have gotten very sick from surfing here. Access is from the car park off Cliff Drive, in front of the restaurant.
