Lovers Point surf guide
Surf: Good left pointbreak in downtown Pacific Grove; only breaks with solid winter swells, bigger than head high. Offshore on southerly storm winds, so rainy conditions are the norm for Lovers Point sessions.
Watch out for a few exposed rocks at lower tides and protective locals.
Surf: General: A little slice of Ireland. Lover's Point is a left that wraps into a rocky cove popular with swimmers and divers. It's the first of a half-dozen left points that lead all the way to the top of the peninsula. Best fall through spring, with winter being the most consistent. Picturesque as all hell.
