Surf: Heavy beachbreak barrels near the Salinas River mouth, best with peaky W swells, high tide and SE wind. Similar to Moss Landing. Easy to find your own peak here.
Environment: Sharky due to the river outflow; also polluted at times from agricultural runoff.
