Surf: Long beach with several peaks, depending on sandbars. Works on most tides. Very consistent. Environment: Relatively uncrowded, apart from weekends. This beach is right next to a gigantic oil refinery, with extreme levels of highly-toxic atmospheric pollution. The water is also quite polluted due to its proximity to Bilbao. Despite this, many beachgoers in summer. Parking OK in winter, difficult in summer. Good beach facilities.
