Surf: Very consistent, good-quality beachbreak with two semi-permanent peaks, mostly lefthanders. Surfable on small to medium swells at all tides. Environment: Always crowded and highly competitive. Strong rips. Parking OK in winter, including camper vans, but restricted and metered in summer. Good beach facilities plus surfshops and camping nearby. Estuarine and stormwater pollution particularly after heavy rains.
