Surf: Excellent long righthand reef-point. Best mid-high tide on medium west swells. Gets going from 4 up to about 10 foot. Rather slow on smaller swells. Environment: Very crowded. Popular with longboarders. Hazards include a strong rip and some submerged rocks. At eastern end of La Salvaje beach. Parking OK in winter, including camper vans, but restricted and metered in summer. Good beach facilities plus surfshops and camping nearby. Estuarine and stormwater pollution particularly after heavy rains.
