Surf: In Terrigal, beginners will look for the smaller peaks in the protected southern corner, but is often a dumpy close-out. Good place to check in a southerly buster. Experienced surfers will head to the famous rocky outcrop that protects Terrigal Haven. It usually works in solid winter swells when powerful, grinding, juicy right-handers can peel for more than 200m. Best on chunky E to SE swell at mid tide, and be prepared for the odd dry rock surprise! Environment: Go to the boat harbour and jump off rocks. All facilities back on the main drag.
