Surf: Uber-barreling right when the NW swell hits this outstanding line of sand-covered reef. The name alludes to the power and ferocity of the tube, but few have the skills to negotiate the frothing crowd, flying drop and full speed sprint to daylight. Only levitates when a decent W-NW materializes so it’s super-low consistency and safer when it gets bigger. At high tide, waves bounce back off the cliff, adding an evil backwash to the already square shaped pits. Environment: It’s always offshore and an easy park and paddle-out, but be very sure of your abilities.
