Surf: Surfing in Puerto Rico has traditionally centred around Rincon, but today the area gets extremely busy. The standard of local surfing is high and the crowds have led most surf travellers to seek quieter spots further to the north, around Isabela. Next to the popular and crowded Middles, Dunes has some quieter reefs and there are more waves to the west at Golondrinas. Environment: Nice sandy beaches but the reef is quite shallow.
