Lavallette surf guide

Surf: A series of short jetties from Lavallette Beach through to Ortley doesn’t protrude enough to provide anything other than average beachbreak peaks. An E swell should throw up some A-frames on all but high tide. Environment: Sometimes crowded, which gets worse when all the surfers are funneled into a few areas for June, July, and August. The jetties can be a dangerous obstacle depending on where the sand has collected. Rips and tags.
