Surf: Bucolic Bali backdrop of rice paddies and traditional houses adds to the laid-back persona of this 2.5km strip of glinting lava particles. The sand will always be hotter than the average beach peaks that prefer mid tides and morning glass, but a scout of the reefs to the south may yield some punchy rights. Nice respite if Keramas is zooed.
