Tamarama surf guide

Surf: Pocket beach that produces running lefts off the point in NE/E swells. Predominantly sand bottom but the rocks at the southern headland can appear all to quickly. Environment: Surfing banned in summer while lifeguards are on duty so only early or late sessions allowed. Gets packed with glamorous sunbathers, but can be rippy and dangerous in S swells and winds.
