Tennis Courts surf guide
Surf: Various other named spots line the reef here like Big Lefts, Big Rights and Concession, but the main break in the middle is Tennis Courts. Courts is a fun-filled, hot-dogging righthander that may start off a little slower for the longboard crew, but is soon racing and barreling over the inside double-up section. Likes S to W overhead swell, N winds and lower tides, while a SE swell will make the short, shouldering lefts a bit more interesting, but no competition for the rights. If you manage to find a parking space in the Ala Moana Park area and paddle out from the tennis courts, keep to the right of the 3 rocks where there is a deeper paddling channel over the sharp, shallow reef.
Environment: Crowds are thick in all conditions so improvers only on small days.
