Surf: Bog Works is a big swell offshore peak with long walls for experts. Swell direction decides whether the lefts or rights are better. Low tide best. Directions: From New Plymouth city centre head east on Devon Street east, then turn left onto Eliot Street, then turn right onto Octavius Street and find a park. Environment: Park near the Mount Bryan Reserve and find the steps.
