Surf: All beachbreak from the rivermouth down to 15th Street. Average and cannot hold size. Needs smaller, peaky swells and incoming tide. Plenty of room for everyone, though, and some good sandbars do exist. Shifty and uncrowded.
Directions: Access is at the ends of the seaside streets of Del Mar.
